At JUMC, the first Sunday of each month is designated as a time to bring a generous donation of food for CUOC and a cash gift or check for the Good Samaritan Fund.

Food may be left in the big basket in the narthex or in the grocery cart in the Wesley Center. Money may be left at either altar during communion.

These First Sunday contributions help give a measure of relief to people in need. Donations are welcome at any time, of course, but this once-a-month special opportunity to share is provided as an easy way to be especially mindful of the obligation and privilege of Christian charity.
