Jonesboro UMWomen Campbell’s Labels for
Education
Our Hand-in-Hand partner school,
J. Glenn Edwards
Elementary is collecting Labels for Education and Box Tops for
Education, accumulating points to be used toward the purchase of playground
balls.
It’s Not
Just Soup & Cereal!
Do you use Scott products? Paper towels or toilet tissue? Remember that those items,
and many others,
have BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION that you can cut out and turn in to
the church office, to your JUMW circle chair, or directly to Reinette.
Do
you like Welch's grape & strawberry jams & jellies? This summer these
are slated to join the BOX TOPS family, so be on the lookout.
How
about Pop-Secret popcorn and Pepperidge Farm bread? These are LABELS FOR
EDUCATION items. Along with the more familiar Campbell's products, they are
also collectible.
JUMC's Hand-in-Hand partner school, J. Glenn Edwards, will get all the
BOX TOPS and LABELS that we collect and use them to help buy balls for the playground. Keep cutting!
Cut these items from
Campbell’s soup and other products (see www.labelsforeducation.com for a full list) and from General Mills cereals and other
products (see www.boxtops4education.com for a full list) and save them to place in designated boxes in the church
office, give them to your JUMW circle
chair, or hand directly to Reinette.
Any of these routes will lead
them eventually to the school, where the PTA will process them and send to the
places where they can be redeemed.
What to Save:
It is the small part of the label
that bears the UPC code & the "Labels for Education" symbol that
is valuable. The part of the label with the name of the product does not matter.
It is of no value without the bar code and picture. Please don't throw that little part
away! Cut it out, put it with others you've cut, and place them in the box in
the church office. Or just put entire labels in there as long as they are whole
and complete.
